Lullaby and folk songs
Lullaby and folk songs
It is to the sick children of the pediatric hospitals of the AP-HP that the soloists of Ensemble Multlatérale want to address themselves through lullabies and folk songs by successively investing the sites of Armand Trousseau, Necker and Robert Debré . The backbone of the program is built on the sublime and essential Folk Songs by Luciano Berio, which resonate with works by Kaija Saariaho, Jacques Rebotier, George Crumb, Heìtor Villa-Lobos and Benjamin Britten. Faced with the beauty of these traditional songs and lullabies revisited by these eminent composers, all these children in Parisian hospitals can only travel and undoubtedly marvel.
