Aurélie Saraf
As a curious harpist, Aurelie Saraf very quickly interested to contemporary music, improvisation, and creation under its every form. She graduated from Lyon CNSM in the class of Fabrice Pierre. She studied with Frédérique Cambreling and Ursula Holliger at the Hochschüle of Freiburg.
She has played on the most prestigeous stages in France and globaly with the Ensemble Intercontemporain, the Klangforum of Wien, the Orchestre des Champs Elysées, the Musiciens du Louvre, or the Malher Chamber Orchestra.She is regularly invited to play with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France and the Orchestre National de France.
She played as a soloist at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Köln Philarmony, Radio France and also in festivals such as Darmstadt, Musica in Strasbourg, Why note, Jazz à Vienne...
Harpist for the Ensemble Multilatérale and the Ensemble Cairn, she worked with composers such as Gilbert Amy, Pierre Boulez, Vinko Globokar, Jérôme Combier, Raphaël Cendo, Peter Oëtvös, Karl Naegelen, Boris Clouteau, Georges Aperghis, Jean-Pierre Drouet...
She created numerous shows, « Le Savon » of F. Ponge and « Ecrire » by M. Duras (Cie Petits Formats), « L’Instruction » by P. Weiss (Cie de la Lune Blanche), Kiosk’Aperghis (Singulière Compagnie), « Chants d’Est » with Sonia Wieder-Atherton,A. Rimbaud's « Saison en Enfer » (l’Oblio di me), « Trois Somme Eberluée » of C. Tarkos (Musiques de Notre Temps), Emile dans la nuit (Cie Azabache). She works with Compagnie des Musiques à Ouïr in some improvised performance and « Ô Brigitte », « Poulpes et Diatomées » and « L'Enfant et les sortilèges ». She recorded « Fidélité » of G. Aperghis at Ameson, and received the Grand Prix de l’Académie Charles Cros.
